SLA Judge Blasted for Actions In Railroad Case Conference
A former Los Angeles federal judge slated to preside over the trial of a one-time reputed Symbionese Liberation Army soldier was blasted by a federal appeals court Tuesday for allowing his law clerk to conduct an unrecorded pretrial conference in an unrelated case and then dismissing the case on his own motion without allowing the attorneys to be heard.
