LAPD Chief Seeks Limits on Inspector's Power
In an attempt to narrow the authority of the inspector general, Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks has asked the Board of Police Commissioners to change the power it has given Jeffrey Eglash in the areas of protecting employees who give him information and providing evidence to law enforcement agencies.
