L.A. Unification Gets Boost From Expert Analysis
Fears that unification of the Los Angeles Superior and Municipal courts would spawn lawsuits for violations of the federal Voting Rights Act were quashed in a report released Thursday, leaving the Superior Court judges who are resistant to the merger without a valid legal reason for their opposition.
