Federal Judge Sends Y2K Suits Back to State Court
SAN JOSE - A U.S. District Court judge has rejected a bid by five national retailers facing a Y2K lawsuit to transfer the case to federal court, saying that Congress - in passing a law limiting complaints about such issues - was not trying to pre-empt state court litigation.
