WASHINGTON - A bipartisan Senate Judiciary subcommittee - not the Republican special task force first envisioned several weeks ago - will investigate the Justice Department's probes of several high-profile Clinton Administration scandals, Judiciary Committee members decided Thursday, and the full panel voted unanimously to endow the subcommittee with subpoena power.
