Prosecutor's Resignation Blamed on Ties to Victim
The sudden resignation last month of Norman Wegener, chief of the Santa Monica city attorney's criminal division, appears to be the consequence of his relationship with a victim in a domestic violence case he prosecuted - a situation which has resulted in a $1.5 million claim against him and the office.
