Insurers Seek to Overturn Bad-Faith Law
SACRAMENTO - A coalition made up largely of major insurers and business groups took the first step Tuesday toward placing a referendum on the ballot that, if approved, would overturn newly enacted legislation to restore bad faith suits against insurers for stonewalling or "lowballing" valid claims.
