Court Puts the Squeeze on Search Tactic
WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to consider whether a new police weapon against drug smuggling - squeezing bus passengers' carry-on luggage to determine the contents - is covered by the Fourth Amendment's restrictions on searches.
