Judges Seek a New Strategy To Increase Their Salaries

For most of the past decade, California judges have been trying to persuade lawmakers that judicial officers deserve a big pay raise. Given their latest defeat in Sacramento, the soon-to-be president of the California Judges Association said it may be time for judges to reexamine how their pay is determined.
