Cooley Announces Candidacy For District Attorney of L.A.

Accusing Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti of being "a failed administrator and passive prosecutor" who has embarrassed his office by putting it up "for sale," one of Garcetti's head deputies, Steve Cooley, on Wednesday formally declared his candidacy for next year's DA's race.
