First Amendment No Shield For False Ballot Arguments
An initiative may be removed from the ballot because proponents used inaccurate and misleading information to induce voters to sign the petition qualifying the measure for a vote, a state appeal panel ruled Wednesday, removing a challenge to the proposed new stadium for the San Francisco 49ers.
