Dating website to pay $16.5 million in class action suit

Santa Clara County jury awards California plaintiffs whose private profiles for STD dating site were shared with other sites owned by SuccessfulMatch.com

A dating website that violated its users privacy by placing their profiles on its network of 1,000 other websites has been ordered to pay plaintiffs' lawyers $250,000 in attorney fees and costs.
