Sony's outside counsel David Boies recently demanded the media cease and desist from further publication of documents stolen in cyberattacks on the media company in November and December. In a letter, Boies threatened lawsuits if the information in the documents is "used or disseminated by [the recipients] in any manner." There have been no reports of any outlet complying with the demands.
