A proposal by a state Supreme Court ethics committee to bar judges from belonging to the Boy Scouts because of its discriminatory policies towards gays has stalled 10 months after it was floated.
The prohibition would have taken effect in August, if approved by the state Supreme Court. August has come and gone, and there has been no word on the measure's status.
