Farmer Bros. promotes corporate counsel to GC

Thomas J. Mattei Jr. is the coffee maker and distributor's second general counsel in its 102-year history.

Torrance-based Farmer Bros. Co. announced Wednesday the promotion of its corporate counsel to the position of general counsel. Thomas J. Mattei Jr. began reporting to Farmer Bros. President and CEO Michael H. Keown in his new role earlier this month.


Farmer Bros., which was founded in 1912, is a manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of coffee, tea and culinary products.
