New chief tapped to head LA's federal fraud unit

A changing of the guard is underway inside a key unit of the U.S. attorney's office - the major fraud section.

LOS ANGELES - A changing of the guard is underway inside a key unit of the U.S. attorney's office - the major frauds section.


Richard Robinson, a 25-year veteran in the Los Angeles U.S. attorney's office will take over the role of chief when Beong-Soo Kim steps aside Friday. Kim, a veteran of the office who oversaw the section for the past two years, has not announced future plans.
