UC students win on appeal in tuition hike case

A group of University of California students came a step closer to a $38 million refund on Monday, when the 1st District Court of Appeal unanimously upheld a decision in their favor.

SAN FRANCISCO - A group of University of California students is one step closer to a $38 million refund after the 1st District Court of Appeal unanimously upheld a decision in their favor in a case claiming the system unfairly inflated tuition fees.
