H-P promotes in-house lawyer to GC

Hewlett-Packard Development Co. L.P. has promoted John Schultz to executive vice president and general counsel.

Hewlett-Packard Development Co. L.P. has promoted John Schultz to executive vice president and general counsel.

Schultz has been with the company since 2008 as vice president and deputy general counsel, litigation. He replaced David Healy, who has served as interim general counsel since December 2011. Healey is partner and co-chair of the mergers and acquisition group at Fenwick & West LLP.
