Financier sues creditors' lawyers

A Hollywood film financier facing bankruptcy proceedings has struck back against his creditors' lawyers from the firms Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP and Levene Neale Bender Yoo & Brill LLP.

LOS ANGELES -- A Hollywood film financier facing a slew of involuntary bankruptcy proceedings has struck back -- against his creditors' lawyers. David Bergstein filed a $100 million lawsuit Friday against lawyers at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP and Levene Neale Bender Yoo & Brill LLP who represent Aramid Entertainment Fund Ltd., the lead creditor in his bankruptcy proceedings.
