The California Workers' Compensation Institute named Ellen Sims Langille as its new general counsel late last week.
Langille, an equity shareholder at Finnegan, Marks, Theofel & Desmond APC in San Francisco, will take the legal helm at Oakland-based CWCI in April, replacing current general counsel Michael J. McClain, who is retiring in May.
