Accusations Fly
On May 11, 1996, ValuJet Flight 592 took off from Miami International Airport with 110 people on board and a crate of chemical oxygen generators in the cargo hold. Shortly after takeoff, the hazardous cargo burst into flames, and within an instant the inferno plunged into the Florida Everglades, killing all passengers and crew.
