Leasing may have slowed in San Jose, but don't tell that to CarrAmerica Realty Corp. The Washington, D.C.-based REIT capped a strong July and August when Schlumberger Automated Test Equipment Inc. took down 150,000 square feet of office space at Baytech Business Park.
The Paris-based company, which directs the manufacture of semiconductor testing devices from its Silicon Valley offices, signed a 10-year lease.
