Cultivation Charge Dismissed After Sheriff Fails to Provide Discovery
SAN BERNARDINO - A Superior Court judge dismissed a marijuana-growing charge against Apple Valley resident Richard Channing on Tuesday because authorities failed to comply with the defense's discovery requests for records and tapes detailing a May 21 helicopter sweep of the Bowen Ranch Village or Emerald Hills Estates area of Apple Valley.
