Court Plan Caps Perks for Judges

Judges who receive extra perks from the trial courts they work in may have to pay with their own money if those benefits increase, according to an interim plan approved Friday by the Judicial Council.

SAN FRANCISCO - Judges may have to dig into their own pockets to pay for some extra perks they receive from the trial courts if the cost of such benefits increase in the future, according to an interim plan approved Friday by the Judicial Council.
