Judge Guts Whistleblower Suit Against the Port of Los Angeles

A federal judge has gutted a long-running whistleblower lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles and other defendants that accused them of misappropriating $1.2 billion in public funds earmarked to build a fuel facility at the Port of Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES - A federal judge in Los Angeles on Thursday gutted a long-running whistleblower lawsuit against the city and other defendants that accused them of misappropriating $1.2 billion in public funds earmarked to build a fuel facility at the Port of Los Angeles and instead used it to build a container terminal.
