Court Will Not Toss Old Civil Rights Suit
In a ruling that could have broad implications for lawsuits arising out of the LAPD Rampart corruption scandal, a federal judge has rejected arguments by lawyers for the city that the court should dismiss a civil rights lawsuit because it stems from misconduct beyond the one-year statute of limitations.
