DAs Confidentiality Plan Draws Mixed Reviews
Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti's reported plan to offer confidentiality to any additional police whistle-blowers in the Rampart corruption scandal drew mixed reactions Wednesday, with critics saying the DA's office likely would eventually have to disclose those officers' names to defense counsel.
