High Court Refuses to Hear Hotel Permit Case

SAN FRANCISCO - By the narrowest of margins, the U.S. Supreme Court Monday decided against taking the case of a pair of disgruntled San Francisco hotel owners who had challenged the city's denial of a permit to convert two dozen long-term dwelling units to tourist accommodations.
