Thomas C. Yager, 1918-2008

Retired judge formed own religion.

LOS ANGELES - Thomas C. Yager, a retired Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, who became the target of society whispers and suspicion after the mysterious 1965 disappearance of his wealthy new bride during an outing at sea, has died.

Yager died on Nov. 20 at Vitas Hospice in Los Angeles. He was 90.
