Net Infringement Cases Go Beyond Current Rivals

SAN FRANCISCO - In a boost for trademark holders, a federal appeals court ruled Monday that claims of infringement in Internet domain-name disputes are not limited to direct business competitors but may include noncompeting firms with potential for future expansion into overlapping business areas.
