Peterson Murder Prosecutor Makes Judge in Stanislaus
SAN FRANCISCO - Stanislaus County prosecutor Joseph "Rick" Distaso, famed for winning first-degree murder convictions in the recent Scott Peterson murder trial, was among four attorneys tapped by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for Northern California judgeships Thursday.
