Governor Puts Four Lawyers on Boards

LOS ANGELES - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger this week named four attorneys, including a former judge, to various state and local boards. James Duvaras Jr., 78, of Carmichael will sit on the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Duvaras retired in 1983 from the Santa Clara Superior Court. Since then, he's worked as an arbitrator and mediator. He is a Republican.
