Wording error leads to reversal of Palmdale election ruling

A state appellate court will allow a City Council election to go forward due to a drafting error by plaintiffs' error in a lawsuit seeking to block at-large voting.

A crucial mistake by plaintiffs' attorneys led a three-judge appellate panel to overturn a judge's decision last month to halt Palmdale's at-large City Council election, set for Nov. 5.
