Lawyer Enjoys His New Window on World

Joining Morrison & Foerster opened up a whole world of possibilities for William Veatch. In his first week at the 1,000-lawyer global firm, the finance attorney handled a deal for one of his clients doing business in Japan. At his old home, Palo Alto's Cooley Godward, he says his client probably "would have gone to another firm" for the deal.
