Latino Officer Named to CJP By Gov. Davis
SAN FRANCISCO - Gov. Gray Davis has appointed Jose Miramontes, president of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, to the Commission on Judicial Performance, the state's judicial watchdog agency.
Miramontes, a resident of San Bernardino who declined to give his age, is the divisional security chief for the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Southern California.
