Two-Year Contract OK'd for City Lawyers
SAN FRANCISCO - The Board of Supervisors approved a new two-year contract Tuesday for the city and county's public-sector lawyers. The contract sets a pay scale for lawyers in the city attorney, district attorney and public defender offices. The pact temporarily cuts their pay by 7.5 percent, but removes barriers to their promotion.
