Jury Awards Insurance Agency $500,000

John Sargeant's wrongful-termination suit backfired. The 73-year-old insurance broker sued Costanza Insurance Agency Inc. after he was fired from the company's Glendale office in April 2001. Costanza attorney Mona Z. Hanna turned the tables on him by filing a cross-complaint, alleging Sargeant secretly kept a client list and used it to solicit business at his new employer, Alandale Insurance Agency, in Glendale.
