Retired Judge Was 'Fair and Respectful'

LOS ANGELES - Retired Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jess Whitehill passed away Tuesday at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge after a decadelong struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 81.
