LOS ANGELES - Former Encino attorney Arden Brian Silverman was sentenced Thursday to one year in county jail for embezzling $310,000 from clients.
Silverman, a civil attorney who specialized in personal injury cases, pleaded no contest in October to 12 felonies: eight grand thefts and four forgeries, said Deputy District Attorney William Penzin.
