PG&E Recovery Plan Could Derail Trial

SAN FRANCISCO - Pacific Gas and Electric Co. dropped a legal bombshell in bankruptcy court last week with the disclosure that the utility's parent company would have to sell up to $700 million in stock to reduce the utility's debt and make its reorganization more palatable to potential investors.
