SACRAMENTO - Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed more than 700 bills into law this fiscal year, including several aimed at reducing the workload for the court system, decreasing the prison population, and one that makes the possession of small amounts of marijuana the legal equivalent of a traffic infraction.
