Minority Recruiting Takes a Hit

Law firms' minority recruiting efforts at firms took a hit last year as the recession stalled firms' diversity efforts.

Minority recruiting efforts by law firms took a hit last year as the recession stalled their diversity initiatives.

Between 2008 and 2009, the percentage of minority lawyers hired fell from 21.77 percent to 19.09 percent, according to survey findings released yesterday by Vault.com and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.
