WASHINGTON - The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted along party lines Thursday in approving for the second time two controversial California judicial nominees.
The committee voted 12-7 in favor of 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals nominee Goodwin H. Liu and Northern District of California district judge nominee Edward M. Chen.
