One Judge Is Censured, And Another Is Probed

The Commission on Judicial Performance censured a Placer County judge for issuing an "informal" restraining order, and began investigating a San Diego judge accused of trying to impress reality TV producers.

The state Commission on Judicial Performance on Thursday publicly censured a judge who hauled an unsuccessful small-claims litigant back into the courtroom to slap an "informal" restraining order on him to keep away from other litigants.
