King & Spalding grows in Silicon Valley

Michael F. Heafey is jumping from Orrick, where he's known for his patent expertise

King & Spalding LLP added Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP intellectual property litigator Michael F. Heafey to its Redwood Shores office, firm partners confirmed this week.


Heafey, who still has a bio page on Orrick's website, does not have a specific start date as of now, said Redwood Shores-based King & Spalding office managing partner Timothy T. Scott.
