Munger partner heads in-house and across country

New York-based private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC announced Thursday that its newest general counsel hails from the Los Angeles office of Munger Tolles & Olson LLP.

New York-based private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC announced Thursday the changing of its legal guard, naming well known Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP corporate partner Robert B. Knauss as its new general counsel.


Knauss will succeed Scott A. Arenare, who the company said is leaving the firm to pursue a new business opportunity after 15 years at the helm of Warburg's legal department.
