Irvine lawyer pleads to planting drugs, draws jail time

Jill B. Easter will serve at least 60 days in jail for planting drugs on a school volunteer. Her husband, a former Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth PC lawyer, is awaiting trial for the same crime.

SANTA ANA - An Irvine lawyer pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony false imprisonment for planting drugs on her son's teacher's aide in an attempt to have the aide arrested. Her husband, a former Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth PC lawyer, is awaiting trial for the same crime.
