An EB-5 (employment-based immigration, 5th preference) visa serves as an expedited route for foreign investors to obtain a green card. Foreign investors can do this either by investing in a commercial enterprise that will directly create jobs or by investing in pre-designated "regional center" to indirectly create jobs.
