Coastal conference draws key officials, industry players

Nossaman LLP hosted its second annual California Coastal Law Conference at the Lodge at Torrey Pines on Oct. 8. The event featured members and key staff of the California Coastal Commission and various industry experts. During the program, Jennifer Lucchesi, executive officer of the California State Lands Commission, and Charles Lester, executive director of the California Coastal Commission, provided an overview of the latest coastal developments. Panelists also discussed hot topics in coastal planning, best practices for navigating the coastal process, recent and landmark court cases and issues pertaining to climate change, sea level rise and shoreline protective devices. — Ben Adlin
