An insurance agency was ordered to pay $5.8 million after one of its agents failed to inform a Santa Fe Springs company it was not covered for workers' compensation. The agency, Hilb Rogal and Hamilton Insurance Services, also was faulted for failing to include workers' compensation in the company's insurance package.
